Accredited by the American Academy of Sleep Medicine, Connecticut Children’s Sleep Center specializes in diagnosing disorders that disturb children’s sleep. Our highly trained physicians use polysomnography, a type of sleep study, to identify sleep problems.
Because the body acts differently during sleep, a sleep study is used to monitor several body functions including breathing, eye movements, sleep stages, muscle activity, body positions, heartbeat and brain waves.

In addition to our board-certified physicians, we also have a board-certified behavioral sleep psychologist, who works with parents whose children have difficulty falling or staying asleep. Our team also includes an APRN who specializes in sleep medicine as well as registered polysomnographic technologists who set up and monitor children’s sleep studies.
