The Pediatric Obesity Center for Treatment, Research and Education at Connecticut Children’s offers behavior-based weight management program for children and adolescents. Our specialists help children and their families change behaviors to establish healthier physical and emotional lifestyles.
Connecticut Children’s is one of just 25 children’s hospitals in the U.S. selected as part of NACHRI’s FOCUS on a Fitter Future task force, a collaborative effort to identify best practices for pediatric weight management programs. We offer several obesity treatment programs that help children achieve a healthier lifestyle. Connecticut Children’s is the only hospital in the state that provides adolescents with a surgical option for weight management.
